Born in Toronto, Ontario of Jamaican descent. She had a strong spiritual upbringing as a Christian which lead her to pursue spirituality seriously. In high school, she met her future colleagues and began to develop a strong want for intelligence and purpose. At a young age, her father had Lou Gehrig’s disease and had passed away. This lead her to wanting to help people in the medical field. This combination of an educational background in health care and personal studies in theology & philosophy has helped her to strive to develop strategies for individuals that meet their needs in a holistic way. She is currently employed with the Saskatchewan Health Authority as an R.N and an instructor with the University of Saskatchewan College of Nursing.
